SPE AVIVAC took part in the 2018 edition of VIV MEA, an international feed-to-food trade show serving the animal breeding industry in the Middle East and Africa. Held in Abu Dhabi from 5 to 7 February 2018, this year’s edition offered an overview of innovatory technologies designed to improve production efficiency, enhance the safety and hygiene at farming units as well as the quality of animal-derived produce.

 

The exhibition showcased the entire production chains relevant to state-of-the-art poultry and animal breeding and the aquaculture industry including strict control procedures that ensure safety at every stage of manufacturing, from feed production to food processing and packaging.

 

Several conferences were held as part of VIV MEA 2018 on challenges faced by the animal protein market and other issues of relevance. VIV MEA 2018 succeeded in becoming a forum that brought together professionals from all domains, inviting collaboration in all domains and encouraging a ‘from stable to table’ approach.
